Liviu Matei is a PHP Developer at Green Horse Games, a game studio focused on creating social and gamified worlds for football fans. He started playing around with PHP and MySQL some years ago, in his free time, and quickly decided this is the coolest thing and he should do it full time. Previously, he worked as a marine engineer, mechanical design engineer, and shipyard repair manager but there’s nothing as rewarding (and challenging) as shaping a concept and turning it into fun experiences that are enjoyed by people all over the world. So, nowadays he spends his time making and breaking things, and loving it.

Ioana Nistorescu is a Project Manager at Minutizer. She has been working on developing new projects in the startups’ environment for more than 4 years. For the last 2 years, her work in the fintech industry brought on new challenges but also exciting opportunities that technology created. She has previous experience in corporate environment, summing up to over 8 years within multinational and multicultural teams/organizations.

Madalina Neagu is working on Business Intelligence and Data Analysis at Talent Browse, the IT recruitment platform where you can find IT candidates available for interviews, all vetted by recruitment agencies. Madalina started her career in corporations and then she switched to startups where she has been working for the last 7 years. She just felt that this creative, agile, fast and challenging environment is the best place where she can have a bigger impact and where she can grow to better use her skills and passion.

About the startups

OpSeeker is the first financial coach that uses Behavioral Economics and AI in order to prepare young individuals to have money for a lifetime. The problem is clear: if we do not start investing for the long-term our society will experience a social and economic crisis as it has never seen before. Millennials can be the first generation with a worse life than their parents if we do not start changing their mentality in regards to money management. OpSeeker serves as an auto-correct for the brain, it works on those cognitive errors and emotional biases that we all have in order to prevent us to make the mistakes that we are wired to make due to our human nature. This way we can have a way better financial life without much effort!

Quontanda is a white-label lending as a service (LaaS) platform that enables organizations (schools, lenders, foundations, and government agencies) globally to quickly launch and efficiently manage student financing programs to make education more affordable. They put bills, people and payments into one place: a unified, frictionless and deeply integrated platform that will bring the home into the digital age. Setting up takes less than 4 minutes and with âcasă each person directly pays their share of the bills, so no one needs to front all the cash. Ultimately, we will create the ability to ‘log-in’ and ‘log-out’ of any home, anywhere in the world. With a single click.
