This is a group for anyone interested in the use of agile to create a better way of working. Anyone is welcome, experience of agile methods isn’t necessary. The meet-ups host a series of experts to discuss pragmatic solutions to real project problems. No hype, just real PMs talking about the Agile movement and how it can impact projects, as well as your career.
 
About this session
For this session we will be looking at User Story Mapping. After a brief introduction to the topic we will get stuck in with a practical workshop on using the tool and finish up with a debrief\Q&A.
 
About Ashley
Ashley has been involved in the software industry for over 25 years working in companies ranging from small start-ups to large multi-nationals. He has over 12 years of experience using various agile methodologies (primarily Scrum). He enjoys making his own pizzas, snowboarding, grooming his beard and setting people straight that he is far too old to be described as a hipster.

John Carvalho is one of the “veterans” in the Bitcoin space (he’s also known as @BitcoinErrorLog or “the guy that made Roger Ver rage quit”). We’ll discuss what it means to run a business that relies (at least partially) on Bitcoin (or maybe, in a larger sense, crypto-currencies), his work at Bitrefill and (why not) his attempt to win bitcoin.com from RKV. The Product Tank community is bringing the SVP of Product Tradeshift and VP of Product for 2Checkout for a fireside chat to ask them about the challenges they face, how they grew in this position, and what lessons learnt they can share. The discussion will be moderated George Dita and we will have plenty of time to ask them questions from the audience.

Thijs Stalenhoef is the SVP of Product for Tradeshift, Inc. He is a veteran in both B2C and B2B, with over 20 years of experience in Product and Engineering Management. Prior to Tradeshift he worked for Apple in California, on computer vision projects and the photo and camera ecosystem. Before this he worked for various startups and established companies in both the consumer and the enterprise space, in 5 different countries.

Adriana Iordan is the VP of Product for 2Checkout. She has extensive knowledge with e-payments and e-commerce and. She has experienced Avangate going through two acquisitions and latest a rebranding and expansion into new consumer segments. Adriana leads a team of 10 product manager and analysts.

About the event

The talk will be covering the common ground between Logic, Type Theory, and Category Theory and, using these different perspectives, attempt to gain some insight into each of them.

Denisa Diaconescu is an Associate Professor at the University of Bucharest, teaching Logic and Formal Verification. Denisa also works for Runtime Verification as a Formal Verification Engineer. Her main research interests are formal methods, applications of logic in computer science, and formal verification.
