HackTheCity #1

#HacktheCity is back! Hosted by TechHub founder @paulharwood – it’s the event for turning your innovative ideas into future projects for hacking the city’s resources!

We think second cities are about to undergo the biggest transformation in history, where people can solve their own problems by engaging with technology through public ‘hacks’.

HackTheCity is a playground for the New Urban. Turn your city into an experiment using open source software, commodity hardware some skills and a bit of imagination. Turn up with no knowledge of technology, or turn up with tech skills, or turn up with some hardware, or turn up with a problem that needs to be solved or an idea that has been mulling about for a while. Doesn’t matter what you turn up with – just turn up.
