ngBucharest Special winter meetup with Simona Cotin

Want to finish the year by discovering the newest Angular and JavaScript technologies? RSVP here to save your front row place on December 7, starting 6:30 PM!

About the event

It is the last event of the year for the ngBucharest community and they have prepared a special edition. For this special winter meetup, the guests will be Simona Cotin – Cloud Developer Advocate @Microsoft and Andrei Antal – Frontend Engineer at Qualitance. They will talk about the latest technologies in the Angular and JavaScript world and Microsoft Romania will provide pizza and drinks. Also, JSGirls and Codette will be Diversity Partners for this event.

It’s been an exciting year for Angular (and the JavaScript ecosystem in general) but Andrei wants for the last talk of the year to take a look forward at the emerging technologies of the future. The Angular team just launched Angular Labs with a goal to more clearly communicate the new explorations by the team. One of this experiments is Angular Elements – a way to embed angular elements into any application without needing Angular. Meanwhile, the Ionic team just released Stencil, a compiler that generates standards-compliant web components. Already intrigued? Good 😃 Let’s explore the future together!

  • 19:00 – 19:20 Intro from the organizers (ngBucharest & JSGirls)
