TechHub to open its doors in Warsaw
New strategic startup space for tech entrepreneurs in Poland

1 October 2015 – LONDON, UK – Connecting exciting tech startups all over the world, TechHub, the global home for tech entrepreneurs, is now opening its doors in Poland. The launch adds impetus to TechHub’s continued growth across the globe and quickly follows the recent opening of TechHub Madrid in June.

TechHub helps its members grow their companies through a comprehensive programme of events and support, access to key contacts and collaboration opportunities both locally and internationally as well as meeting and work space. The TechHub event schedule is specifically designed to help technology entrepreneurs get better, faster and events range from investor coffee mornings, where members meet and greet local venture capitalists, to the famous TechHubTuesday Demo Nights, which bring members together to share their products on the same night each month, all over the world.

TechHub Warsaw will be based in Google’s soon-to-launch Campus Warsaw making it an ideal space for the technology community to network, develop and build businesses. Campus Warsaw and TechHub align strongly in their joint mission to help technology startup founders understand the value in collaborative communities. They support tech companies in thinking globally from the start and accelerate their growth.

Existing TechHub members from across the globe will have to access TechHub Warsaw, and Warsaw members can drop in anywhere too. With a strong presence in Europe’s major tech cities, as well as newly launched sites around the world, TechHub’s international network provides members with the opportunity to be wherever their business needs.

Andrew Tibbitts, global COO, TechHub says, “We are thrilled to be launching TechHub Warsaw. It is clear the city’s tech talent has a huge amount to offer the startup ecosystem. Google may have started in a garage but we believe tech entrepreneurs today can grow faster by helping each other. We truly believe TechHub’s approach will offer something new to Warsaw - a supportive environment, international network and learning opportunities every day. We can't wait to get working with TechHub Warsaw members to help them scale-up faster.”

Serial entrepreneur and head of Campus Warsaw, Rafal Plutecki, says, “TechHub’s international community will help Polish startups learn from other entrepreneurs going through the same challenges in building businesses in other parts of the world. It gives startups in Warsaw a great opportunity to show the rest of the world the innovation that exists in Poland.”
