Operations Coordinator

We're looking for an energetic, friendly, multi-skilled Operations Coordinator to join our London home and work alongside the Community & Operations Team to provide a fantastic working environment for our members and drive operational efficiency!

Core Duties

  • Greet and interact with members and guests, cover all front desk duties - you're the face of TechHub and the first point of contact for any member or external guest. Plenty of people come through our doors every day - from aspiring entrepreneurs to famous investors and politicians.
  • Communicate community messages, internal events and opportunities to members face to face and online - making sure they’re informed and use their membership to their full potential.
  • Answer calls, emails and queries - our environment is buzzing and needs timely and helpful responses to those who are interested in joining or collaborating with our community.
  • Manage internal membership processes - working closely with the Ecosystem and Finance teams.
  • Manage members incoming mail - dealing with couriers and processing parcels and mail in a timely manner.
  • Know everything that's going on in the space at all times - everyone that walks through the door is your responsibility, unless they're passed on to someone else.
  • Assist the community with facilities and maintenance - ensuring TechHub is clean, safe, functional and operational; proactively flagging and resolving any issues and keeping the members and the team updated.
  • Schedule and coordinate contractors visits on site.
  • Check all office floors for faults/issues and log in all requests from members -  Logging and monitoring repairs that can’t be immediately fixed.
  • Set up team spaces when new Teams join or move around the space - Roll up your sleeves!!!
  • Set up wired connection for new/existing Teams or Resident Members if and when required.

Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who wants to join for a full-time, 6 month contract.

You are:

  • Friendly and personable with great communication skills – you love interacting with people and helping make their day the best it can be. TechHub members are awesome people and we know you’ll enjoy meeting and interacting with them.
  • Punctual, organised, and completely reliable – you should be great at managing your time and workload to ensure everything gets done and that communication / collaboration with your colleagues is smooth.
  • Creative, process-driven, proactive – if you think something could be improved, we want to hear your thoughts – we’d love you to discuss solutions rather than problems, anticipate issues before they arise, and take action where it’s needed.
  • Passionate about technology and entrepreneurship – you’ll be surrounded by tech entrepreneurs and will need to speak their language!
