Our Office Hours are a great way to get very specific advice on business challenges you face on a daily basis. This time around we’ll be welcoming Jonathan Ain, Partner at Kleinberg Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, P.C.
Who is this for: tech product founders (late seed stage / Series A)
This will run as a 30 minute, free consultation with Jonathan on a range of matters, including corporate structuring, intellectual property, fundraising (debt and equity), employment, insurance, tax or even litigation.
Jonathan Ain heads the Emerging Companies Practice at Kleinberg Kaplan and concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings (including PIPEs), strategic and troubled company acquisition and disposition transactions, joint ventures and general corporate, securities law and contract matters. Jon has been recognized by New York Super Lawyers every year since 2014.
Frequently complementing a client’s management team by serving as outside general counsel, Jon and his team act as a senior member of the clients team and participate in board-level discussions. Jon’s goal is to work with clients to ensure that they are appropriately structured, scalable and positioned for growth and potential liquidity events, while helping navigate legal and business obstacles along the way. Working with startup clients and other investors to help organize and fund their businesses, structure their investments, manage their employees and consultants and accomplish their business objectives. Jon regularly counsels enterprises across a wide breadth of industries, including, software, technology, financial services, pharmaceuticals, nutrition and healthcare, retail, media and entertainment, fashion, food and beverage and is experienced in working with companies at all stages of the corporate growth cycle. He also regularly advises non-U.S. companies looking to establish or expand in the United States, with a particular focus on clients in the U.K. and Nordic regions.
