Fireside Chat: Growth, acquisition and reinvesting in the ecosystem with Alexander Trewby
September 24 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm BST
TechHub London are delighted to welcome to our stage Alexander Trewby for a Fireside Chat + Q&A hosted by TechHub Founder and CEO Elizabeth Varley.
Alexander Trewby currently works for Google in London in their new Google Health team. He joined them after they acquired Divide, an enterprise mobile security startup he co-founded in 2010. Previously, he spent 10 years working as a software engineer for Morgan Stanley in New York. In 2009 he developed the first iPhone application for a UK politician and in 1996 he dropped out of University (before later returning!) to found Westminster Internet, a consultancy that put the first Members of Parliament online. He lives with his family in West London.
Alexander will be talking to Elizabeth about his journey starting and growing Divide with his two co-founders, raising investment (including from Google Ventures), Divide’s acquisition by Google in 2014, and the investment and advisory work he’s doing to support the growth of the startup ecosystem now.
