Behind the startup scene: AI for Robotics & AI-enhanced UX. Powered by EY!

September 6, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm UTC+0

Come and find out from 2 founders what it takes to build an AI-based startup. RSVP here to save your front row place on 6.09, starting 18:30!

About the event

Serban will share his industry learning as the founder of Eyeware, a Swiss tech startup. His presentation will include a discussion of what it means to be in “deep tech”, the current trends in Robotics and AI, how to find and work with corporate partners, and what to be careful about in the early stages of developing your AI product.

Ciprian will talk about what they’re doing at MorphL, explore some examples of AI-enhanced products and think of how you could apply some of this stuff to improve your product’s UX.

When it comes to data, we tend to think in dichotomies: quantitative vs qualitative, objective and subjective, messy and curated, science and story. Using data for product development does not have to be an either/or; instead, it should be YES, and… Organizations have started developing metrics that go beyond the default off-the-shelf analytics provider. Rather than relying on single signals — say the number of pageviews or the number of clicks to determine conversion — the trend is now toward using AI/ML that draw insights from multiple signals or event streams.
