At TechHub we're flat out planning and running great events, meeting with potential partners, taking people for tours, following up membership enquiries, working on new projects, supporting great tech companies and so much more. With the government's Tech City announcements last year and our involvement in their projects, plus the amount of press coverage we've had recently, there's some really great chances to get involved in exciting things.

This means we have opportunities for bright, enthusiastic, out-going, hard-working graduates or students with excellent English-language skills who are looking for some great experience in a fast-paced start-up. Want to immerse yourself in the business end of the tech industry? This is the place to do it.

Your contribution will be valued and we'll listen to your ideas. when you're doing a great job, we'll shout about it and make sure everyone knows about your talent.

What?
Based on-site at TechHub in London, as well as gaining fantastic experience for your own development and for your CV, you'll make excellent contacts and gain introductions in the tech and startup industries, have a reference to help in your career, get to come to some awesome events (at TechHub and elsewhere), hone your skills and have great fun (we laugh a lot!).

As a TechHub intern you might be involved in the following:
  • planning and running events (more details under Events Intern below)
  • writing for the TechHub blog, newsletters & Twitter (more details under Comms/Social Media Intern below)
  • meeting with enterprise groups and potential partners

  • helping with admin, member communications and member management
  • generally assisting the team

TechHub Events Intern
Love live events? This is a great opportunity to get some fantastic experience for your CV and make excellent contacts, plus learn how to programme, plan and run a great event. To give you a flavour of what you might get involved in... lots of press interest, lots of government interest, events with Google and Pearson, a cool new hack style series of events, startup and hack weekends, student nights, our new 'country days' (France is coming up this Friday), events leading up to Mobile World Congress and SXSW, TechHubFriday Demo Nights, our new early-stage startups programme, TechHub Members Networking Drinks, Silicon Roundabout networking nights, masterclass days, an event for angels and a very exciting accelerator programme slated for later in the year.

TechHub Comms/Social Media Intern
Are you a great writer? Have a knack for pithy tweets and engaging emails? Helping with TechHub's blog, Twitter account and newsletters is a brilliant opportunity to hone your skills and help keep our community engaged and in-the-know. You might get involved in...breaking news about announcements and new programmes at TechHub, spreading the word about our press coverage, making sure our members get emails chock full of important tidbits and special previews and offers, shouting about our wonderful sponsors Google and Pearson, engaging with the TechHub community and the wider tech and digital industry through Twitter (it's not all about announcements!), writing opinion pieces and blog responses to industry press, being our Facebook master/mistress, and more.

We're also big fans of being yourself: there's no need to be super formal in your application, but we do like good English and punctuation and things like that.

So apply now! We're looking forward to hearing from you.
